What is your role at St Andrew’s Church and what is it you do?

I'm the Trinity Centre co-ordinator, I oversee the bookings, invoices and everything inbetween. You'll also find me over at St Andrew's most days, especially on a Friday at What's for lunch? It's my favourite day and we have a great group of volunteers.

What is the most satisfying part about your involvement at St. Andrew’s?

Seeing the things that you do making a genuine difference to others.

Best memory from your time here?

It has to be my own wedding, all my favourite people under one very important roof.

Is there a particular chapter or verse from the bible which resonates with you more than any other?

Corinthians 16:14 "Let all that you do be done in love".

What is your biggest passion outside of Church life?

Making memories that will last a lifetime with my family and our friends. Holidays, festivals, camping and days out.

Have you got a hidden skill?

Not a skill, more of a hobby. I love to cook, everything from bread to a roast dinner, even better if I have an assistant to wash up!

Favourite movie / TV series?

I love a good horror or thriller! Much to the delight of my Husband.

Favourite book / author?

Harlen Coben. I love a good thriller!

Favourite music / musician?

More of a favourite music festival. I love live music and there's a fantastic Grass roots festival called Ey Up My Duck, I go each year and they always have my all favourites playing.

For people who have just moved to Shifnal, what’s the best way to get started in coming to Church?

Dip a toe in the water, come to an organised event such as a Fair or the Christmas tree festival and get a feel for the church.

For people who have lived in Shifnal a long time who may have often thought about coming to church, but either never got around to it or maybe feel a bit daunted in not knowing where to start, what is the best advice to these people?

Pop in for a coffee or a spot of lunch during the week. If you already live in Shifnal you're bound to know someone who comes already, tag along.
