Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care network covers the whole benefice. It is our aim to respond to the needs of the whole community through sharing information, visiting home and hospital, sending cards, offering transport to church and giving Home Communion. We offer support for the bereaved and our annual Memorial Service plays an important role in this.
Our Pastoral Care Team has links with caring agencies working in the community.’ Share and Care’ is our motto – we are always happy to welcome new members to our team and information sharing is at the heart of our work. So if you know of anyone who may need our support please do contact us.
You can contact the Pastoral Care Team though the Parish Administrator or for more information see the Parish Magazine.
COUNSELLING SHIFNAL - YOU'RE NOT ALONE IN THIS COMMUNITY
Counselling can be hard to find, and many face long waiting lists or costly fees. So, we have teamed up with Shropshire Training and Counselling Practice to offer counselling that is free and available! At present we have three trainee counsellors who have completed their studies and are working towards qualification by offering free counselling sessions. They are each supervised and insured.
FEELING OVERWHELMED?
Everyone deserves a listening ear and a helping hand - our free counselling service is here to support you in a safe, confidential, and caring environment.
