What is your role at St Andrew’s Church and what is it you do?

My role is as Churchwarden and I also  oversee the fabric of the church building.

What is the most satisfying part about your involvement at St. Andrew’s?

The most satisfying part is to take part and witness the growth in the church

Best memory from your time here?

That is difficult but i recall the Easter Sunday Service last year (2025), Methodists and Anglicans worshipping together, a tremendous atmosphere!

Is there a particular chapter or verse from the bible which resonates with you more than any other?

As you sow so shall you reap  Galatians 6.7

What is your biggest passion outside of Church life?

Walking, cycling and generally keeping fit.

For people who have just moved to Shifnal, what’s the best way to get started in coming to Church?

Just give it a go, that’s what my wife and I did and you might be pleasantly surprised! Approach a neighbour or someone nearby you know who may attend church from time to time, to give reassurance.
