What is your role at St Andrew’s Church and what is it you do?
I am Senior Steward at Trinity. A role with many hats but essentially enabling the life of Trinity and the Parnership to grow.
What is the most satisfying part about your involvement at St. Andrew’s?
I find satisfaction in that role when I see primarily people feel comfortable with their faith and find church a place of acceptance.
Best memory from your time here?
It would be one of many but to name one would be signing the Partnership between the two churches.
Is there a particular chapter or verse from the bible which resonates with you more than any other?
A favourite verse from the bible would be Ezekiel 18 v4. -Â 'Every living soul belongs to me'.
What is your biggest passion outside of Church life?
Passion outside of church would be Drinking’good’ coffee.
Have you got a hidden skill?
To do the laundry very quickly!
Favourite movie / TV series?
My favourite movie is, Out of Africa
Favourite book / author?
Usually whatever I am reading at the time.
Favourite music / musician?
Several musicians and music. I do like Morricone and Gabriel’s Oboe, played on the cello by Hauser.
For people who have just moved to Shifnal, what’s the best way to get started in coming to Church?
Shifnal welcome pack and follow up visits.
For people who have lived in Shifnal a long time who may have often thought about coming to St. Andrew’s, but either never got around to it or maybe feel a bit daunted in not knowing where to start, what is the best advice to these people?
If you're thinking of coming to church then try it ‘come and see’, maybe Breakfast Church or pop into one of the many events. You will be made very welcome.
